Hey and Welcome to Game-Of-Write!
We are a group that is just taking off but shooting for high places! In this group we hope that all of our members (future members i should say ^.^) will have a haven where they can truly express their self through literature. And in doing so have other people see and appreciate what they have worked hard to achieve. The Art of writing is much like a game and we hope that this group will be a place where every one can play it!

Humpty's Revenge (circa 2012)Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Laughed as he rose from the concrete again...
Humpty Dumpty climbed up the wall
Snakes, ladders and inevitable falls
No matter the lanes that the ladders create
Snakes pull him down, they won't give him a break...
Humpty Dumpty's hitting the wall
Humpty Dumpty's scared of the fall
Gridlocks and kings see victory's near
But looks are deceiving and so is despair...
Humpty Dumpty's over the wall
He's been through inferno, has nowhere to fall
He makes his own lane, flows on his own track
Who knows where it leads? There's no turning back...
The Exiled DragonJura The Exile trudged solemnly through the thick and eerie forest canopy. A heavy murk blanketed the land, but the dragoness' eyes remained keen to the slightest hint of danger. For within these gloomy and expansive woods stirred creatures far worse and more horrifying then your typical wolf pack. This was the Alder, the edge of the world, and the very hunting grounds of the gods themselves. Despite the danger, fear did not manifest within Jura, nor courage, or honor; rather anger and bitter sorrow. She had crossed the known world and journeyed deep into this forgotten and forsaken wood in search of the sweet release of death.
She would rear up in defiance against any manner of beast that flew, burrowed, or stalked these lands, and would fight with such malice and savagery that the forest itself seemed to quiver within her presence. For a full fortnight, Jura had expelled her rage upon the monsters of the Alder. Even now her scales, once a magnificent shade of ivory, was grimy and mat
The CullingThe free city of Embercrest, situated on the banks of the large Gulf of Koresh, west of the Choral Sea, was a true contemporary wonder among the free city-states dotting the Gulf's shoreline. Its natural harbor acted as a gateway to the Ivrohanian Empire, just across the Choral Sea. Ivrohanian merchants would come and go as quickly as the changing of the seasons, bringing boundless spices, quilts, and commerce to Embercrest. Many different cultures have left their mark not just on the city's people, but also upon the city's identity. What historically was a city of no variation, Embercrest has grown into a multicultural hub and it's this that unites the fifty thousand people living within its walls. But such a utopia was not without its fare share of drawbacks.
The city-states of Koresh were in a state of civil unrest. After years of fighting endless hordes of magical abominations that were conjured by rogue mages, the people of Koresh had grown frightful and hateful of

“May I come out now Caleste?” King Babar called from inside his room.
“Not yet Babar.” Caleste replied.
“I don’t see why I’ve got to stay in here.” Babar said. “I mean who could possibly be coming that would require me to wait in here until they show up?”
“It’s a surprise.” Caleste replied.
Babar was confused. As the king of Calesteville, and the one who had saved his herd from the hunter and introduced them to civilization, he deserved info on these matters.
All of a sudden, Babar's two trusted advisors, Cornelius and Pompadour showed up.
"I say Caleste, how is our king doing?" he asked.
"He's wondering why he has to stay in his room until the guest shows up." Caleste replied. "By the way, any news from madame?"
"She called an
Once Not Too Long Ago,Down Town In The City, There Stood Two Little Shops, Facing Each Other On A Quiet Street.
In The Window In One Of The Shops Stood A Little Paperweight Named Oswald. He looked like a fine gentleman. A christmas wish answered part 3“Who are you?” Emily asked answering the door.
“I’m...Brenda.” Brenda said nervously. “I’m...new to the cheerleading team at A&M.”
“I’ve never seen you before.” Emily said suspiciously.
“I arrived late.” Brenda said. “But I was looking for a partner to practice with...you in?”
Emily, not the brightest with strangers, grinned and said yes!
“Can I have some soda?” Brenda asked.
“Sure we keep it in...” Emily started, but Brenda was already opening the third drawyer in the fridge!
“How did you know where we keep the soda?” Emily asked surprised.
Brenda thought quickly!
“That’s where a lot of families keep sodas.” she said.
Emily shrugged. “Get me on too please.”
Brenda did so.
“Okay Brenda, let’s go over the cheer. Ready?” Emily asked.
brenda panicked...but all of sudden, she knew the cheer perfectly! Edward and
Just A Teenage TearIt's just a teenage tear, it will dry
Sorry, but I think I'm going down
No apologies are necessary
I can tell you don't want me around
It's just another day it will pass
The sun will not wait for me to change
I will be easily replaced in your heart
Now doesn't that seem ever so strange
It's just a lonely world I live in
Not even close to the one where I was raised
At what point did I become so lost?
And how long do I wait to be saved?
It's just a teenage heart that has broke
But this time I am afraid it is mine
It now only exists in pieces
Too many to piece back together this time
Some Broken PeopleSome broken people can hurt you without thought
But believe me when I say it’s not their fault
With an open wound as delicious as yours
It would be a shame not to rub in the salt
So why do you insist on shaking that girl
Do you like playing the martyr on your knees?
Acting like you’re a paragon of purity
Well today that purity feels ripe for disease
Some broken people cry not knowing what for
Have sympathy as they weren’t born with black hearts
Like you and I they have grey matter in their brain
But their thoughts are a great distance from dark
So why do you insist on hitting that girl
When she stopped feeling many blue moons ago?
A waste of energy, like her wasted breath
When she told you that her safe word was ‘no’
Some broken people lash out without warning
At those close to them that they hold most dear
Trying to fight away those armed with feelings
Yet at the same time wishing that they were near
So why do you insist on leaving that girl?
The Word Count Is NoneYou once said you’d write a poem to my mother
About how much you loved her only son
But something seems to have changed in your heart of late
And now the word count has become none
I know I am not your knight in shining armour
In fact no armour could protect me
From all the nights I have spent sitting in the dark
With no moon to light up my misery
You once said you had dreamt of the two of us
Young lovers stood knee deep in a lake
But you chose to increase the depth of the water
Before I even had a chance to wake
Now I am drowning in the dreams of your sunset
As I can't get a handle on my blues
Still I offer you my shoulders to stand on
So you can breathe but of course you refuse
You once said that you were writing me a letter
And told me to read it with a smile
But I’m not sure if I can remember how to
Since it has been such a very long while
Still I begin to read it with a hopeful heart
And each swirl of your calligraphic scrawl
Forms a butterfly that takes flight from th

Lillend and Her Watchman: Part 1
Lillend stirred and moaned as the light of the morning sun slowly roused her away from her sleep. The warm bed strove to lull her back into blissful slumber, but once the sounds of church bells floated into her ears, she knew it was time to wake up. She blindly extended her arm out, expecting for it to land on her lover whom she shared the bed with. Her hand fell on soft linen. That's when she mentally scorned herself.
That's right, he's on watch duty. She realized.
Nikolai had risen from bed in the dark of the morning, and prepared himself for the day's watch without awakening her. She praised Nikolai for his bravado, but was upset that she either went to bed alone, or woke up only to find him already gone. Being an officer of Dirfaldir's City Watch, his schedule was under tight strain. Rotation was bi-weekly, and he shifted from days to nights, and vice versa. She fervently savored the few days of which he was off-duty, virtually never leaving his side
A fishy new life: happy ending and a wedding“Married?!” The baxters all exclaimed.
“That’s right!” Rover said. “Crabby and I are a lot alike!”
“WEll congrats to you both!” Richard said smiling. “We’ll arrange the wedding!
Karen suddenly gasped.
“What is it dear?” Richard asked.
“It’s our anniversary!” Karen cried.
“Oh my god it is!” RIchard cried.
“I know just the spot for you two lovebirds to have it.” Boris said smiling. “Ocean view suites. It has a view of all Aquania on the top floot!”
“That sounds expensive.” Richard said. “Even for us!”
“It’s on me!” Boris said. “I owe you guys for saving me!”
“Thank you Boris!” Karen said.
“Much appreciated.” added Richard. “But we only did part of the saving really. We’d like to thank some others.”
“Very well.” King Boris replied.
A.A. Week 2(Well kinda)
I don’t remember too much about that night. Markel was there and he looked scared, but not for him. Flashing lights, screaming, not being able to tell which way was up or down. I think he was holding my hand at some point, or was it me holding his? I came and went until I finally started to clear up. The rhythmic beeping of machines, hissing of equipment, and flickering screen images came into focus. The air smelled sterile, but the scent of death was everywhere, pain and fear, blood and sorrow. I could smell it, don’t ask me how, but it was there. I glanced around and saw my partner slumped awkwardly in a chair, a small pile of emptied coffee cups next to him. I could smell the sugar from here, he always dumped more sugar in coffee than any human should be able to handle. I’m surprised he didn’t become diabetic.
It took me a second to realize there was a mask off my face, since it
A.A. Week 1 I quickly opened the door and looked down the corridor, seemed safe enough, even if it was in the shadier part of town. I squinted down the dimly lit hall and saw a door partially open, as my eyes adjusted to the darkness quicker and better than any regular humans, the golden, painted letters that had faded and chipped away, stood out “A. A eeti g Ro m“ and I gave a sigh. I didn’t need this, it wasn’t a problem, and it didn’t interfere with my work or life much, really. The building was in the shadier part of town, so why couldn’t they send me someplace else? Going to these meetings might interfere with my normal work, if anything.
I took off my hat and tucked it under my left arm and shook off the drizzle that had accumulated on my coat, slowly walking toward the door with the words of my Captain ringing in my ears “Val, you’ve done great in the field, but with this, I even had to pull a fe
Babar vs the hunter and westboro baptist church 2Now all of Celesteville was in a total panic! The hunter who they thought had perished years ago was alive and was out to revoke their protection rights so that he could hunt them all again! And the biggest non-conservatve hate group on earth and the second biggest (and most misognist) were on his side!
Naturally, all the citizens were swarming the palace asking Babar about what they were going to do. He had no idea so he eventually had the barricade the palace doors tight.
“Oh Celeste...” Babar said miserably. “I’m...I just have no idea what to do!”
“There there BAbar.” Celeste said kindly. “You’ve just been under so much stress.”
“I’m the king.” Babar said. “Everyone turns to ME for guidance...”
“We turned to you for guidance before you were king.” Celeste pointed out. “Do you remember when we were children and the hunter was after us? We probably all would have been dead if yo
Crowley x reader Love bites
As you were lying in bed you could sometimes hear screams coming from the hallway, it caused some minor insomnia and you couldn't sleep so you got up and looked at the time it was 3 am. You got up wearing only your laced black underwear, but then covered it up with one of Crowley's black shirts well he only had black but you loved black.
As you walked down the hallway you reached the door where your master usually does his business, the large black doors were opened for you there was two demons in the room but they scattered when they saw you. Mostly afraid of their king, ''hello darling'' your lover announced. You walked up to him and climbed on his lap ''still restless love?'' His British voice was soothing ''yeah, I guess I am just a little bit tense that's all''
'' Want me to take care of that?" you didn't reply, the sensation of his strong, firm hands slowly stroking your legs and thigh was too relaxing to think ''Crowley...'' you whi

Sweet cologne intoxicates your mind, making it numb.
This is what he does, this is how he is--intoxicating.
Maybe it is your obsessive compulsive disorder or maybe he just drives you crazy.
The soft fabric of his suit jacket slides against your skin. His power and intensity have you hooked. Or maybe it's his dominance. He has you unsure, doubting everything except how much you want him.
There is no cure for this, no turning back. But It's not just him, it's the thrill of sleeping with the enemy.
"I need you," you whisper with your hand on his tie.
You pull him closer and taste the sweet alcohol on his lips.
Your tongues collide.
Soft moans escape your lips. He growls softly before pushing you against the cold alley wall with his bo

"I see those fools at the Abbey sent some fresh meat for us", Garrick said mockingly challenged and looking at them, "you success to overcome all my thieves... is the first time that adventurous as you manage to beat many of us".
"I don't know whether to take it as a compliment", Nailock said trying to deduce, "or nonsense".
"Nailock", Davis said reluctantly.
"Returns the vineyard of the town, Garrick!", Gabriel demanded by threatening with his hammer.
"You are finish!, you don't have more forces", Davis said as he and Karjub prepare their spells.
"Not if i'm still alive!", Garrick scream willingness to fight

The Greatest FeelingI once spent six days thinking about nothing but the ocean. The waves crashed over my skull and drowned all other thoughts. All my eyes saw when they looked out was a world of pure blue, drenched in silence and painted with the most vivid hues imaginable. It was a world more beautiful than my own, and when I woke from day dreaming -- when I was forced intermittently during those six days to look with real eyes upon the land before me my soul cringed in disgust.
It seemed a world filled with pollution, covered in a constant haze -- as if I was walking with a funeral crape over my eyes. The colors were drained and all felt heavy: my feet, my limbs, my mind, my heart, and all the same for those around me. I could glance into heaven, but as soon as I began to really lose myself, I was shot like an arrow back to Hell.
And on the seventh day I got up in the middle of class and drove off to the sea.
At every stop a little voice inside me begged in a screeching voice to stop this, to get off a
Lay soft heartsLay soft hearts beneath the stars
Wrapped in cool summer breeze
Fireflies and dancing embers above
Your head warm against my chest
Fervid breath against my lips
tightly bound within my arms
Kisses upon your cheek
and whisper love in your ear
With a smile you kiss me deep
Burning wilderness in your eyes
Explosive souls below the midnight sun
I will be yours for all my life
Drift far away in care free yonder
Lost amongst ethereal wonder
Celestial serenity in this worlds of ours
As soft hearts lay beneath the stars.
What's the Best Feeling?Could you be more specific?
Could you love the way it feels?
Could you lie around and feel this sensation forever?
I know I could.
I could sit on the beach,
under the only palm tree within a mile,
I could sit and feel the breath of mist caress my skin,
and I would,
lie under the sun's eyes,
letting it warm my skin.
I could feel this utter bliss for forever,
because this is what I would call the best feeling I've ever felt.
The best feeling in the world,
the best thing one could feel.

Group Story Prologue"How many must I gather?"
He smirked to himself as he heard the silent reply. "I'm not due for release yet, old friend. How could I possibly gather them if I cannot get out?"
He wanted to laugh, but resisted the urge to. He loved doing this to people- getting them mad over trivial details that he should already know. They didn't know it, but it was one of the many pleasures he gained from being locked up in this asylum. So many new minds to play with- some on his level, others above or below him.
"The pieces are laid out for us, then. All that needs to be done is get them in the right place, at the right time. Should be easy enough, with both of us working together wait, what?"
Right here?! There was someone like them here?! He'd have been able to tell, he could read everyone in the building at the drop of a hat. "That's impossible. There can't be one here. This place is for people others don't want to deal with. Dangerous people."
He narrowed his eyes, and scrutinized the

You and Me
There are times..
Times that come too often these days
When the distance seems too much
Too much to cover only with thoughts
So much that even in a crowd of 'known's
I keep looking for your eyes..
Remembering how they'd light up
When they see me.
But knowing you are too far away,
I still feel you around.
Every time I look around, I see..
You teasing me,
About the silliest things
And the way I try to get angry,
Even though, in my heart, I just smile.
Knowing you are the only one
Who understands me this much..
It's something I don't want to explain..
Something that no one else would possibly believe.
And the bond that we call friendship
Crosses all the barriers, the distance.
And there are times..
That make me feel again and again..
That in spite of the distance,
We are a part of each other's world.
